Gas boosters are used to intensify a variety of gases including argon, helium, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Used for virtually all known gases, high pressure gas boosters are ideal for increasing gas pressure, transferring high pressure gas, charging cylinders and scavenging. Some common uses with a booster or booster system are to scavenge bottled gases once the pressure has fallen below operational requirements, pressure testing vessels, laser cutting, aircraft ground support equipment and injection molding. Gas Boosters works much the same as our high pressure liquid pumps in which a larger air drive piston is directly connected to a smaller pumping piston. The incoming air from the compressor drives the booster and also feeds the supply to the unit.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
u Both pressure and volume of flow are easily and accurately controlled by a pressure regulator installed in the air supply line.
u Can operate with almost any type of non-acid gas
u High output capacity and outstanding performance provided at very low cost.
u Designed for easy maintenance with minimum components and joints
u High output capacities up to *5,**0 PSI (**0 Mpa)
u Wide range of output capacities – less than **0 PSI (1 Mpa) air pressure is required to attain maximum rate of flow
u Simple operating principle - a larger air-driven piston delivers pressure to a proportionally lesser diameter hydraulic piston, providing fluid flow at relatively higher pressures.
u Complete flexibility – boosters adapt to a wide variety of applications, from simple manual controls to fully automatic operation. Air motors are interchangeable for most models within each series.
u Cycle automatically. When compressed air is first applied to the pump, it will cycle at its maximum speed producing maximum flow. The pump will then gradually start to cycle at a slower rate as the pressure in the receiver increases and stop automatically
